After an uneventful 2015 season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Brandon Boykin has finally found a new home after signing with the Chicago Bears. The Bears confirmed the signing late Wednesday night.
Philadelphia traded Boykin to the Steelers last summer for a fifth-round pick. As a free agent this offseason, Boykin signed with the Carolina Panthers, but was released by the team two months later.
Boykin became a fan favorite during his three-year tenure with the Eagles. Boykin’s best season came in 2013 when he recorded 47 tackles, 16 pass deflections and 6 interceptions as the team’s nickel corner.
