Well, here’s an honor that’s well deserved. On Sunday, former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Todd Herremans will serve as an honorary captain when ‘The Birds’ meet the Minnesota Vikings for their Week 5 game on Sunday.
The news came after the man who started 124 games in 127 appearances in green, black, white and silver made the announcement that he’d be retiring.
Here’s the tweet:
“I don’t think my body would let me play anymore” said Herremans when he spoke to various members of the Philly media including Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer.
