On Tuesday morning, the Carolina Panthers announced that veteran running back Rashaad Penny was being placed on the reserve/retired list. Penny appeared in three games for the Philadelphia Eagles last season, rushing for 33 yards on 11 carries and catching one pass for five yards.

Coming out of San Diego State, Penny was a first round pick by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2018 NFL Draft.
