Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb released from jail

Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb has been released from jail, but he's not completely free just yet.

McNabb was released from jail Friday morning, but will still need to spend three days on house arrest and complete 30 hours of community service.

The six-time Pro Bowler spent 18 days in jail after pleading guilty to extreme DUI back in June. He was arrested after a minor accident with a blood alcohol level of .17, more than double the legal limit of .08.

The ex-Eagles quarterback resigned from his job as an NFL analyst with Fox Sports Live after the station had suspended him indefinitely, noting that “it is important that Donovan use this time as best he can to resolve his personal situation.
