Former Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Dexter McDougle has signed with the New Orleans Saints, according to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates.
The Eagles released McDougle last week in order to sign former Saints linebacker Dannell Ellerbe.
Hmm. I’m sure espionage isn’t the only factor here (Marshon Lattimore is hurt), but it might not be purely coincidence that two of the top teams in the NFC are getting some extra intel on each other.
Philadelphia originally acquired the 26-year-old McDougle in August when they traded backup safety Terrence Brooks to the New York Jets.
