It wasn’t all that long ago that cornerback Brandon Boykin was one of the Philadelphia Eagles‘ top defensive playmakers. Recently, though, he’s been struggling to find a new gig.
That changed Monday when ESPN’s Adam Schefter announced that Boykin would be signing with the Baltimore Ravens.
Boykin was once a fan favorite in Philadelphia. Back in 2013, he led the Eagles with six interceptions as a second-year pro. After a disappointing 2014 campaign (and failing to meet Chip Kelly’s height requirements), the Eagles traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he failed to make much of an impact.
