In case you live under a rock, Super Bowl 50 has come to a close as the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers with a final score of 24-10.
One of the rockstars on the Broncos’ offensive line, guard Evan Mathis, is a former member of the Philadelphia Eagles, and I’m fairly confident he’s more than okay with that at the moment.
Mathis was unceremoniously cut by Philadelphia last summer when Chip Kelly tried to create an Eagles youth movement. Along with players such as Todd Herremans and Trent Cole, Mathis no longer had a place on Chip’s roster, making him expendable.
