The Eagles begin practice Monday morning with rookies, quarterbacks, and selected veterans. Thirty eight players will practice during the next three days before the other 52 players arrive Wednesday for Thursday’s session. Here are five players in the focus before the full-team practice:
ISAAC SEUMALO: The Eagles’ third-round pick missed the offseason program because of Oregon State’s calendar. Now that he’s back, Seumalo has a chance to win the starting left guard spot. He would need to beat out veterans Allen Barbre and Stefen Wisniewski, but the Eagles are bullish on Seumalo’s potential. The Eagles say he can play all five positions – he’s best at the interior spots – and coach Doug Pederson said Seumalo could compete for the starting spot as a rookie.
