Fan-Demonium: An Underrated LB Trio

When you think about the all-time best linebacker corps in the history of the NFL, you tend to think of 3-4 teams. There were the great Giants linebackers of the 1980s that were led by Lawrence Taylor and Harry Carson. The Steelers had some great groups, especially with Greg Lloyd and Kevin Greene attacking off the edges. The Saints had a group called the Dome Patrol that featured Ricky Jackson, Pat Swilling and Sam Mills.

But what about 4-3 teams?

The 1985 Bears had a great trio in Mike Singletary, Wilber Marshall and Otis Wilson. The Chiefs won Super Bowl IV with a pair of great linebackers in Willie Lanier and Bobby Bell, and the underrated Jim Lynch rounding out the set.
