Ed Rendell: Replace Sam Bradford with Colin Kaepernick

COLIN KAEPERNICK is trending on several fronts.

Even the Guv is weighing in.

Ed Rendell, the football-crazy politico who writes a column for the Daily News' weekend edition, told Rich Zeoli on Talk Radio 1210 that the Eagles should consider trading for Kaepernick.

"One thing is clear, Sam Bradford is not, in my judgment, the quarterback of the future for the Eagles," Rendell said. "What I would like to see us get at the end of the year, I'm told that San Francisco is going to be looking to trade Kaepernick and I think in Chip Kelly's system, Kaepernick could be the perfect quarterback because he can run.
