Early Birds: Roseman on WRs and CBs; Eagles confident in Mathews, Sproles; Eagles looking toward draft

1) Wide receiver and cornerback appear to be areas at which the Eagles still need help.

At wide receiver, Howie Roseman said the Eagles want to let Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor, and Josh Huff develop. The team invested picks in the first three rounds on all three players and seem committed to seeing them grow.

“We feel we have three young receivers who have the opportunity to develop and grow here, deserve the opportunity to develop and grow,” Roseman said. “We’re excited about the opportunity for our coaches to get our hands on them.”

Doug Pederson said there’s “still a possibility” of doing something at wide receiver, but the Eagles are “happy where we are currently today.
