Brian Westbrook will be inducted into the Eagles’ Hall of Fame on Oct. 19. The team will celebrate the career of a Villanova product who is the franchise’s all-time leader in total yards from scrimmage and is one of six players in NFL history with 30 or more rushing and receiving touchdowns.
Westbrook spoke Tuesday about the honor and how it makes him think about the great players he played with during the 2000s – whether it was Donovan McNabb, Brian Dawkins, Tra Thomas, or Jon Runyan.
“When I have people come up to me now and rattle off my stats and say they watched me when they were younger, it still amazes me just a bit, because I don’t look at myself that way,” Westbrook said.
