Eagles work out two free agent quarterbacks, per report

The Philadelphia Eagles worked out veteran free agent quarterbacks Josh Johnson and Thad Lewis on Tuesday, according to a report from Field Yates of ESPN.

This news is a little interesting because it comes shortly after the team claimed 23-year-old quarterback Stephen Morris off the NFL waiver wire on Sunday. Morris is currenly projected to be the team's third string quarterback behind starter Sam Bradford and top backup Mark Sanchez.

Perhaps the Eagles were just doing their homework on Johnson and Lewis should they need to be prepared to sign one of those players.
