Jacoby Brissett and Tyrod Taylor were two free agent quarterbacks with notable connections to the Philadelphia Eagles. As it turns out, the Birds will be signing neither of them.
Brissett reportedly agreed to terms on a one-year contract with the Miami Dolphins.
Taylor, meanwhile, is heading to the Houston Texans on a one-year deal.
This is good news because it (hopefully) decreases the Eagles’ chances of wasting resources on a veteran backup to have behind Jalen Hurts. Philly should instead focus on finding the cheapest option available to them.
