Head coach Nick Sirianni admitted earlier in the week that most of the starters would be rested for this Week 18 game. They’ve already secured a playoff spot, already won the NFC East, and after playing 12 games in a row since their early Week 5 bye, those guys need a break.
It was a tough decision for Sirianni who had to carefully weigh the option of letting Saquon Barkley go for the NFL all-time rushing record.
