On Saturday, the Eagles announced the following roster moves, except in the case of quarterback Matt Barkley, to bring the roster to 52 players ahead of the 4 PM deadline ...
As the roster currently stands, the Eagles elected to keep four running backs and three tight ends, as Kenjon Barner's terrific preseason earned him a spot in the Eagles' backfield. It's a tough break for rookie Raheem Mostert, who had a stellar preseason as well, but couldn’t quite find his way onto the active roster. The Eagles also kept six wide receivers (Nelson Agholor, Seyi Ajirotutu, Miles Austin, Riley Cooper, Josh Huff and Jordan Matthews), leaving fan favorite and local product Rasheed Bailey on the outside looking in.
