The Philadelphia Eagles unsuccessfully tried to sign Minnesota Vikings practice squad defensive end Ifeadi Odenigbo to their 53-man roster, per the Pioneer Press. The Vikings raised Odenigbo’s salary in order to prevent him from leaving.
It seems like the Eagles tried to sign Odenigbo after they had to place rookie pass rush Josh Sweat on injured reserve. Instead, Philadelphia ended up signing free agent defensive lineman Daeshon Hall. Hall is currently serving as the fourth player in the defensive end rotation behind Brandon Graham, Michael Bennett, and Chris Long.
