Washington was able to score touchdowns on two of its first three drives to start Saturday night’s game, but in the second quarter the Eagles clamped down on their division foe. The Redskins scored a field goal after taking over at the Philadelphia 35 following a fumble by Zach Ertz, but including that drive, which totaled just 25 yards, Washington was held to 39 yards on their four possessions in the second frame. The Eagles enter halftime down 16-10.
Field Goal Trims Deficit
After punting away on four straight drives after scoring a touchdown off the game’s opening possession, the Eagles were able to score a field goal to reach double-figure points.
