For the third straight season, the Eagles will conduct joint practices with another team during the preseason. For the first time, though, it won't be the New England Patriots.

Instead, the Eagles will welcome a familiar face in John Harbaugh when the Baltimore Ravens come to Philadelphia prior to the Week 2 preseason battle on August 22. The exact dates and times are still being finalized.

“I think the value that you get for every single player and every single coach in terms of what we’re doing - to get a chance to go against another scheme and another team - I think it’s really beneficial, as long as you and the other team are on the same page," head coach Chip Kelly said prior to last year's joint practices with the Patriots.
