JASON PETERS is, without question, one of the best offensive tackles of his era. There is Peters and there is Walter Jones and then there is everyone else.
And everyone else includes Jonathan Ogden, Orlando Pace and Willie Roaf, who, like Jones, happen to have bronze busts in Canton.
Five years after he retires and becomes eligible for the Hall of Fame, I will passionately lobby my fellow Pro Football Hall of Fame selectors to put Peters into Canton in his first year of eligibility. I'm guessing they're not going to need much convincing.
But that's a discussion for down the road.
