The Philadelphia Eagles have signed free agent safety Brandan Bishop, according to his agent. The team has not yet officially confirmed the move. According to Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, the Eagles also worked out free agent Jeremy Deering before signing Bishop.
The 24-year-old Bishop measures in at 6-1, 208 pounds. Bishop played for North Carolina State and went undrafted in the 2013 NFL Draft. Bishop made the Vikings' roster as a rookie but was released by Minnesota last offseason. The Atlanta Falcons signed Bishop to their practice squad late in the 2014 season before releasing him in early May 2015.
