The Eagles officially signed quarterback Carson Wentz to his rookie contract on Thursday ahead of this weekend's Rookie Camp. Wentz will address the media on Friday at 12:30 PM, which you can watch live online and on our app. The team's entire draft class for 2016 is done from a negotiation standpoint.
Wentz, the No. 2 overall selection, comes to Philadelphia as the franchise’s highest-drafted player since the team selected quarterback Donovan McNabb with the second overall pick in 1999. A two-year team captain at North Dakota State, Wentz led the Bison to back-to-back FCS National Championships in 2014 and 2015 and compiled a 20-3 overall record in his two seasons as a starter.
