The Philadelphia Eagles signed undrafted rookie free agent linebacker Jaboree Williams (great name) on Sunday morning, according to an official announcement from the team.
The Eagles had an open roster spot after waiving undrafted rookie safety Stephen Roberts on Saturday afternoon.
Williams participated in the Eagles’ rookie minicamp as a tryout player following the 2018 NFL Draft, so the team has some level of familiarity with him.
In four years at Wake Forest, Williams logged 141 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, four passes defensed, three sacks, and two interceptions.
