Eagles sign Freddie Martino, release two players

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced a few minor roster moves. The team has signed free agent wide receiver Freddie Martino. In order to make room for him on the active roster, Philadelphia released undrafted rookie free agent John Harris. The team also waived/injured 6'9" defensive end Frances Mays, who suffered a finger tendon injury.

Martino played Division II college football for North Greenville. He measures in at 6'0", 195 pounds. The 23-year-old Martino originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons following the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent time last year bouncing back and forth between the Falcons' practice squad and active roster.
