The Eagles signed cornerback Mitchell White from the Canadian Football League to a reserve/futures contract on Monday, giving White a chance to try to impress the cornerback-starved coaching staff during minicamps, training camp, and the preseason.
White, 26, played three seasons in the CFL with Ottawa and Montreal. He had three interceptions in 2016 for Ottawa. He is listed at 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds.
White went to the CFL after playing college football at Michigan State. He started two career games for the Spartans and was mostly a special teams contributor.
This is the second consecutive year the Eagles signed a CFL cornerback.
