The Eagles signed cornerback Patrick Robinson to a one-year deal on Tuesday.
Robinson, 29, played last season with the Indianapolis Colts. A 2010 first-round pick by the New Orleans Saints, he has 49 career starts with three teams during seven NFL seasons.
Robinson, who is 5-11 and 191 pounds, has 10 career interceptions.
Eagles executive Howie Roseman hinted that the team would be in the market for value signings before the draft. Robinson is a “Band-Aid” signing, but he gives the Eagles roster insurance at a position with holes.
