The Philadelphia Eagles signed free agent offensive lineman Braeden Daniels to their practice squad on Wednesday morning, according to an official team announcement.
The Eagles had an open spot to fill after cutting Siaki Ika on Tuesday evening.
Daniels, 24, was originally selected by the Washington Commanders with a fourth-round pick (No. 118 overall) in the 2023 NFL Draft. He missed his entire rookie campaign due to a season-ending injury. A new Commanders regime then decided to move on from Daniels prior to the 2024 season.
Daniels spent a few weeks on the Houston Texans’ practice squad before getting cut and having a cup of coffee with the Los Angeles Chargers.
