Howie Roseman was correct last week when he said the Eagles don’t have any “gaping holes’’ on their roster.
They addressed many of their most pressing needs in free agency, adding interior offensive linemen (Brandon Brooks, Stefen Wisniewski), cornerbacks (Leodis McKelvin, Ron Brooks, re-signing Nolan Carroll), wide receivers (Chris Givens, Rueben Randle), a SAM linebacker (Nigel Bradham) and a safety (Rodney McLeod).
The one position they didn’t address – and need to – is offensive tackle. Left tackle Jason Peters is 34 and coming off one of the worst seasons of his career.
Maybe Doug Pederson’s more tackle-friendly offense will help Peters.
