Eagles’ Shareef Miller’s family grateful he didn’t end up with the Cowboys

A couple of months ago, the Philadelphia Eagles’ made a hometown kid dreams come true. With their fourth-round selection, they decided to draft Penn State defensive end, Shareef Miller. Although Miller has spent the last few years balling out closer to Pittsburgh, the Philadelphia native gets to come home and play for the same team he has rooted for all his life.

So when Miller got the call from Howie Roseman, he was obviously thrilled to know that he was going to be donning midnight green. However, that wasn’t the only thought on his family’s mind.
