According to Les Bowen of Philly.com, the Philadelphia Eagles struggles in the run game seem to be the type that can't be fixed during this season.
Good offensive linemen do not grow on trees, and coach Chip Kelly's hubris in not selecting a lineman the past two years in the NFL Draft, along with key departures such as All-Pro Evan Mathis, doesn't give running back DeMarco Murray a fighting chance.
Bowen writes:
'This sequence came to mind yesterday when I listened to Chip Kelly assert in his day-after presser that the Eagles' run-game problems were fixable.
