The Philadelphia Eagles officially trimmed their roster to the 53-man limit on Saturday but that doesn’t mean the team is done making changes. The Eagles may release players and sign others before their Week 1 game against Washington.
Sunday’s action involves the NFL waiver wire and the formation of a 10-man practice squad. The Eagles rank 25th in the NFL waiver wire order so Howie Roseman will have to hope the 24 teams ahead of them don’t want a player so that the Eagles’ claim can be successful. The waiver period ends at 12:00 PM ET today.
