For what feels like the fourth year in a row, anticipation is very, very high for the Eagles’ rookie class. Consistently strong drafting by Howie Roseman means high expectations for the first years, and this season is no different. The NFL preseason is evolving as teams still figure what kind of load management to do for their starters versus how valuable it may be to shake off some rust. That being said, evaluating preseason performance and participation should come with a grain of salt always.
