The last preseason game is always a bit of a snoozer and the Eagles’ 6-0 loss to the Jets was hardly different. Likely no player on the field for Philly last night will begin the season as a starter and naturally most of the players are on the fringe of the roster. So, like is the case with most preseason games, the eyes were on the rookies. The game did not feature any of the team’s first three picks, a good sign for their status as role players this year. However, later round picks and UDFAs got a good opportunity to show their stuff in a last bid to make the team.
