Eagles, Roger Goodell Come Together To Gain Perspective On Criminal Justice Reform

Malcolm Jenkins, Torrey Smith, and Anquan Boldin invited Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to meet with and listen to Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross, grassroots organizations, policy leaders, and public defenders in the city on September 12. Jenkins and Smith, along with Rodney McLeod and Chris Long – who also attended the meetings – are members of the Players Coalition, which focuses its work on criminal justice reform.

Lurie saw the invitation as an opportunity to learn firsthand about how his players are getting involved with social injustice reform work in the community.
