Per the NFL transaction wire, running back Chris Polk is now officially a free agent, not as presumed still a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
On Friday, the Eagles rescinded their $1.6 million restricted free agent tender they offered to Polk in March.
Things have certainly have changed for the Eagles' RB corps since then. The team now has RBs DeMarco Murray and Ryan Mathews in the fold.
Polk had 172 yards and four touchdowns in 2014.
