The Philadelphia Eagles have freed up just over $5 million in cap space by restructuring the contracts of veteran defensive end Chris Long and linebacker Nigel Bradham, according to a report from NFL insider Field Yates.
Long and Bradham aren’t the first Eagles players to agree to restructured contracts this offseason. Howie Roseman has not been shy about increasing players’ cap numbers in future years in order to lower them in 2019.
It still remains to be seen if Long will actually be back with the Eagles in 2019.
