Eagles reportedly cut standout player from spring practices

The Philadelphia Eagles are waiving cornerback De’Vante Bausby, according to a report from NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Dave Zangaro.

This is a noteworthy cut by the Eagles. Bausby really impressed during spring practices earlier this year. Then the 25-year-old spent a good chunk of training camp splitting first team nickel corner snaps with Sidney Jones.

Unfortunately for the Big Baus, he didn’t look as good this summer as he did during OTAs and minicamp. The 25-year-old fell out of the starting slot role when he was supplanted in the competition by 2018 fourth-round rookie Avonte Maddox.
