In what might be the brightest piece of news Eagles fans have read in about a month, the team have released Jamon Brown.
Jamon Brown joined Atlanta in 2019 after spending seven weeks as a starter for the New York Giants. He then started nine games at right guard for the Falcons and amassed a PFF grade of 53.2 (not ideal), but didn’t give up a single sack.
The Eagles signed the former Falcons lineman back in September. As a former fourth-round pick, there was some reasonable expectation that he’d be a viable depth piece moving forward.
