The Philadelphia Eagles made another official change to their practice squad on Tuesday afternoon. The team released cornerback De’Vante Bausby in order to make room for safety Tre Sullivan.
Sullivan is the player who had a real bad gaffe in last week’s Eagles versus Falcons game. The 2017 undrafted free agent signing unnecessarily got too close to the ball on a punt return and ultimately got pushed into it, which allowed Altanta to recover with great field position.
The Eagles released Sullivan the day after he made his big mistake. The writing was on the wall for him in the first place, though, considering Philadelphia had traded for Deiondre’ Hall the week before.
