According to a report from Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, the Philadelphia Eagles have released undrafted rookie free agent Cole Manhart. This move has been made in order to clear a roster spot for the signing of free agent guard John Moffitt, who is expected to officially sign with the Eagles on Monday.
Manhart originally signed with the Eagles shortly following the 2015 NFL Draft. It's at least a little interesting the Eagles are already giving up on him. Philadelphia guaranteed $10,000 of his 2015 salary along with giving him a $5,000 signing bonus.
