The Eagles released cornerback Dwayne Gratz on Sunday and placed defensive tackle Beau Allen and cornerback Sidney Jones on the active/non-football injury list. They also officially signed quarterback Dane Evans, finalizing a few procedural moves on the eve of the first practice of training camp.
The Eagles will take the field Monday morning with rookies, quarterbacks, and selected veterans. The first full-team session is Thursday.
Gratz, 27, joined the Eagles roster last December and was with the team throughout the spring. He offered starting experience from earlier in his career in Jacksonville, but he could not ascend on the depth chart during the offseason program.
