The Philadelphia Eagles announced their 2016 regular-season schedule. This year’s schedule features four primetime matchups as the Eagles play twice on ESPN’s Monday Night Football, once on NBC’s Sunday Night Football and once in a Thursday night contest that will be broadcast nationally on NBC and NFL Network, and streamed live on Twitter.
The Eagles kick off the 2016 season at home against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, September 11, marking the seventh time that Philadelphia has played Cleveland on opening day. The last time that the Eagles played the Browns was also a Week 1 contest when the two teams opened the 2012 season in Cleveland.
