Eagles record book: Carson Wentz looks to pass Donovan Mcnabb

Fourth-year signal-caller Carson Wentz isn’t the greatest quarterback in Philadelphia Eagles history yet. That’s what most of us want to happen. That’s why Philly took him second overall in 2016, but he has work to do. Heck, these days, if you poll some of the Eagles fan base, they’ll tell you that title belongs to Nick Foles. After all, he brought them the Super Bowl, but for you stat guys, you already know the answer. Statistically, the best quarterback in the Eagles’ history is Donovan McNabb.

Believe it or not, that name still gets a few dirty looks from some of the Eagles contingents, but regardless of how it ended, some of the stuff he said (that really wasn’t all that bad) and lessons that were learned later (that dispute with Terrell Owens was really on ‘5’), time heals all wounds.
