Eagles Re-Sign Najee Goode

On Saturday morning, the Eagles re-signed linebacker Najee Goode. The move brought the active roster to the 53-player limit ahead of Sunday's season-opening game against the Cleveland Browns.

Originally a fifth-round draft choice by Tampa Bay in 2012, Goode has provided quality depth at all linebacker positions for the Eagles for the past two seasons. He was released by the Eagles earlier this month when the roster was originally cut down to 53 players. He becomes the sixth linebacker on the current roster, joining Mychal Kendricks, Jordan Hicks, Nigel Bradham, Stephen Tulloch and Kamu Grugier-Hill.
