It wasn’t a pretty sight early on at the Eagles’ open practice on Sunday, with defensive end Joe Ostman being carted off the field, and a majority of his teammates comforting him as he made his exit.
The team has now opted to put Ostman on injured reserve with a torn ACL. His season is over. The Eagles used the open roster spot to sign defensive end Kasim Edebali.
Edebali is almost 30 years and has spent the better part of his career bouncing around the league.
