1-3 is not the start Chip Kelly was hoping for or was even expected to have for the Philadelphia Eagles. The hype over the Eagles in the offseason was high, the team signed former Seattle Seahawk Byron Maxwell and there was hopes he would improve the struggling Eagles defense. DeMarco Murray was brought in to complete the supposed ‘three-headed monster’ running back core of Ryan Mathews and Darren Sproles. Some called Kelly a madman but there was a lot of confidence that he knew what he was doing and it would prove to be a fantastic season for the Birds.
