The news and decision came quickly earlier on the evening of December 29th just 15 days short of the anniversary of former Eagles head coach Chip Kelly’s hire date. For the past ten months many fans and some players really wanted him fired. They felt he had lost his focus and vision for the team.
The dramatic personnel changes started nearly two years ago when he cut Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Then probably the most shocking decision was to trade former Eagles running back, franchise rushing record holder and one year removed rushing champion LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills.
