Jeff McLane reports that the Eagles are expected to retain G Allen Barbre after they recently allowed him to shop himself around the league for a possible trade.
Barbre, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2007. He spent three years in Green Bay before he was waived and later caught on with the Seaahwks.
After brief stints with the Seahawks and Dolphins, the Eagles signed him to a futures deal back in 2013 and later signed him to a three-year, extension a year later.
Barbre is in the final year of his four-year, $5.
