The Philadelphia Eagles announced Monday that they’ve officially placed RB Darren Sproles on Injured Reserve with a torn ACL and a broken arm.
This will, unfortunately, end Sproles’ 2017 season and could be the last we see of him in the NFL, as he previously mentioned that this year was likely his last.
The Eagles are already without rookie Donnel Pumphrey, who was placed on injured reserve last week, so they will move forward with a backfield that consists of LeGarrette Blount, Wendell Smallwood and rookie Corey Clement.
