The offensive line of the Philadelphia Eagles just can’t play the way it did last year. With a bevy of undersized running backs who are more shifty than powerful, this team is going to have to rely on its’ big guys to open some holes, or this team could get reduced to swing passes, screens and sweeps that may or may not work.
Being an offensive lineman in the NFL is a thankless job. What’s that old saying? No one mentions the name of an offensive lineman unless it’s a referee and that lineman has done something wrong, but the success of this team and its’ chances to retake the NFC East rest on the shoulders of these guys and whether they can create holes in the running game and block effectively for whoever ends up behind center.
